After another massive attack by the Russian Federation, US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham called on US President Donald Trump to “start the process of providing Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles.”

“After this massive attack last night, I call on President Trump to begin the process of supplying Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, which will change the rules of the military game. We must put more pressure on Putin in the coming days and weeks. Any negotiations that are seen as excessively rewarding aggression will lead to catastrophes around the world…Time is of the essence,” he wrote on Kh’s social network.

Graham also noted that “the pressure we are putting on Putin to sit down at the table of peace negotiations and stop the massive attacks on Ukraine is not working,” and President Trump’s idea to go after Putin’s oil clients who support his war machine “must be vigorously pursued by the United States and Europe.”

In December 2025, Lindsey Graham said that if the Kremlin abandons the peace agreement, US President Donald Trump should sharply increase pressure on Russia, in particular by transferring Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine.

Ukraine has been asking partners for long-range weapons over the past year. Kyiv is also trying to develop its own long-range solutions, in particular the Palyanitsa and Flamingo systems, but they do not have the same combat characteristics as the Tomahawk.

Trump has hinted from time to time that the United States may provide Ukraine with Tomahawks. In November of last year, he said that he was not considering the possibility of supplying these missiles to Kyiv, noting that he could still change his mind.
