According to Taras Pastukh, the deputy head of the OVA, the bodies of 33 victims have been identified so far.
“As of the morning of November 23, the search and rescue operation… has been completed. We can state that 34 people died. 33 of them have already been identified. Forensic experts are still working on the identification of one person who owns the remains of the bodies, fragments of bodies that were found yesterday,” Pastuh said in a video message published on the OVA Telegram channel on November 23.
The head of Ternopil OVA Vyacheslav Negoda gave the same data on the night of November 23. Six children were among the dead.
