A 33-year-old resident of Lviv region tried to break through to Romania on a motorcycle through a checkpoint in Chernivtsi region.

Details: On the evening of December 13, a citizen of Ukraine arrived at the Porubne checkpoint on a motorcycle. The man intended to leave for Romania, but he was not going to go through border and customs control, knowing that he had no reason to leave Ukraine, the DPSU said. So the man simply tried to break through the checkpoint to the neighboring country at high speed.

The border guards of the Chernivtsi detachment immediately issued the “Barrier” command and detained the violator with the help of means of a forced stop.

He turned out to be a resident of the Lviv region, born in 1992. Regarding the detainee, administrative protocols were drawn up under articles 185-10 and 204-1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The violator and the motorcycle were handed over to representatives of the National Police.
