A suspect in an attack on a military TCC officer was detained in Vinnytsia

In the Vinnytsia region, on January 2, law enforcement officers detained a 46-year-old resident of the Haysyn district: the investigation believes that during the check of military registration documents, he wounded a serviceman of the district TCC and SP in the leg and fled.

Details: According to the investigation, on the morning of January 2, in the Raigorod community of the Haysyn district, military personnel of the RTCC and SP were working in one of the villages and stopped a 46-year-old local resident to check his military registration documents.

During the inspection, the man suddenly attacked the serviceman and hit him in the leg with a sharp object that looked like an awl. After that he ran away.

The police established the identity of the alleged attacker and detained him at home. The object that was hit was taken away.

The prosecutor’s office opened proceedings under Art. 348 of the Civil Code (encroachment on the life of a serviceman). The investigation is being conducted by the investigators of the Haysyn district police department.
