On the morning of September 24, Gogol died in hospital.

The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets was informed.

Prehistory:

• The DBR investigated the case against five prisoners involved in the death of another prisoner in the Kyiv Detention Center.
• In the course of the investigation, law enforcement officers found in an institution with about 2 thousand 700 people, a stable hierarchical structure of criminal influence. It was headed by the so -called “watch”. According to the investigation, this “vertical” was involved in the functioning of this “vertical”, he attracted some of the personnel of the pre -trial detention center and physicians who actually acted under the control of criminal.
• In December 2024, in the territory of the trial court of the pre -trial detention center, the so -called “watchful” persons were brutally beaten by another prisoner (Kiazimov -ed.)
• The employees of the pre -trial detention center knew about the beating, but tried to hide it – forged the documents, made a decision on isolation of the victim without proper medical care. Only the next day he was taken to the hospital, where he died on December 28.
• In the framework of the pre -trial investigation of criminal proceedings, it was reported by a number of officials of the State Detention Center of the Kyiv Detention Center (9 pre -trial detention workers – inspectors, duty, doctors and senior corps).
