A modular house for displaced people caught fire in Lviv

Rescuers extinguished a fire in a modular building in Lviv, where displaced persons live, a Radio Liberty correspondent reported on January 19. None of the people were hurt.

Today at 2:11 p.m., a fire broke out in a modular building with an area of ​​12 by 25 square meters on Nad Dzherel Street.

According to information from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Lviv region, the fire covered the first and second floors of the building on an area of ​​about 70 meters.

27 rescuers extinguished the fire within nine minutes. As the State Emergency Service adds, thanks to the quick actions of the rescuers, the modular house was saved.

Modular towns in the Lviv region for displaced people began to be equipped after the start of the full-scale invasion of Russia in 2022.
