In the information space there are various narratives on mobilization, often as an indicator of stigmatization of this concept by society: it is associated with coercion or fear. A biased attitude is one of the main barriers to a decision. In fact, the global recruiting process eliminates these barriers, it is only necessary to delve into the context.

Military recruiting in Ukraine today is a unique phenomenon. Almost nowhere in the world you can not choose the unit you can join. The main condition is to make this decision yourself. Apply to the desired unit, sitting in the premises of the shopping center or passing the BZVP late.

Recruiting is about the conscious choice of each individual In the war, Ukraine is transforming rapidly – it is a matter of life and death. Recruiting is no exception. Most units adapt to the needs of people, introducing a format of preliminary consultation – without obligations. You can just come to the recruiting center, find out details, ask questions. Then talk to another unit, go to think and make a decision.

In civil life, I worked in the field of HR for 22 years – I was looking for and hiring people for top teams, boards of directors and more. Now, in the direction of recruiting in the 412 regiment of Nemesis, I adapt the best practices in the corporate sector to the military realities.

For example, one of the key rules is the answer to the application within 24 hours. The first impression is extremely important. It forms an attitude to the regiment and determines whether a person wants to move further or in which keys will tell about his experience to acquaintances. Therefore, we set up a system of interaction, so that immediately after the first contact we can say: “There are cool professional people, everything explained, everything is open.”

Military recruiting has long occupied its niche in the labor market. Now most units know their audience clearly, understand its motivation and requests. Military units build a recruiting and communication strategy that will increase the number of interested people. It’s not about marketing or PR is an awareness that if you want to attach new people, you have to make a candidate’s way as simple as possible and understandable.

All that remains of the candidate is to make your choice and go to the unit that corresponds to his own request.

Honesty is the basis for trust In the Nemesis Regiment, we have built a consistent recruiting system that allows you to make a conscious decision. Its basis is open communication and human -centricity.

First – filling in the questionnaire on the site 412 of the regiment. Then there is a live conversation with our recruiters. We get acquainted with the person, his experience and learn about the request. The candidate receives answers to all his questions. During the conversation, we also identify a position together where the person’s civilian skills will bring the greatest benefit.

There is a separate questionnaire on the site for servicemen who want to move to our regiment. The very transfer occurs through the army+. With our regiment, the system works effectively. Most of the people who are currently involved in the unit are the military. And it is important for us that these people have chosen a regiment of Nemesis. This is the best evidence that we do everything right.

A large unit is a complex mechanism. In order for 300 people to be effective on the front, another 200 must provide the rear. The troops need a variety of specialists, and everyone is trying to find an appointment where it will be as effective as possible.

It is not just to get to us and the positions are not limitless. And if there is no need now – we will be honest about it. If everything happens, then the person communicates with the recruiter of the unit, meets the potential commander, undergoes psychological and medical control. All these stages are needed to record the candidate’s position, and we guarantee that a person in our unit will be enrolled in the position that was discussed during the selection.

The Nemesis Regiment is a military unit that has the right to mobilize the direction without a shopping center and now we are a leader in this indicator among such military units for several months in a row.

After the first stage, the person applies that he wants to join our unit to a specific position, receives a referral for the passage of the Military Medical Commission and after passing the VLK is enrolled in part. Our regiment experts are fully accompanied by this process before enrollment, so there is no risk that the recruit will be taken to another unit.

Also, the candidate may not worry that without his knowledge he will change his position after being applied. In my practice, I did not meet this. Just imagine what a blow to the reputation of a unit that will affect people’s desires to join it. In the Nemesis Regiment, the system is built so that we are looking for people to be aimed at specific positions, knowing what kind of expertise we need.

The next step is the person. Recently, the Nemesis Regiment opened its own training base. It was important to us, because so we can teach the skills that correspond to the specifics of the regiment, as well as to get acquainted with our internal culture immediately. 99% of the knowledge gained – applied.

This does not end with this, then the person undergoes professional training in his unit, which gives the opportunity to get into work smoothly and to understand the specifics more deeply. If it is a FPV-arable pilot-then it takes a separate course, receives specific skills and certification.

The team where the initiative is valued Our approach to management has taken a lot from the corporate sector – it is important for us to keep personal initiative. The army is quite a stingy structure, but where there is a place for proactive actions – we do everything to provide it. We have a rule: everything that interferes with work effectively must be rejected. Every serviceman of the regiment of Nemesis knows his area of ​​responsibility and operates in it creatively.

As in civilian life, it is important to give people the opportunity to realize. Particularly significant is the recognition of the achievements of those who have somehow expressed themselves. Often fighters show leadership in ordinary positions. And when the managerial position opens, we simply “design” what they have been doing for a long time.

Horizontal height also works – the 412 regiment has the opportunity to change the position or move to another direction. Awareness of personal benefit is one of the key aspects of the success of the whole unit.

Most units also introduced the so -called referral program: bring a friend, get a bun. We have started from the first days of the unit, but in fact our referral program is reminiscent of a sundress radio. Now it simply lives in its lives: people of the regiment of Nemesis have become our main ambassadors, bring in a unit of friends and acquaintances. It helps to maintain a common value.

We will find the best application of the candidate’s examination, teach and explain how to use it for military purposes. However, the main thing for us is that a person consciously decide to join the armed forces in order to have a joint No value with us. You will not teach it. And it is with such people that we work.

The only ones who are definitely not for the Nemesis Regiment are those who want to “stay” in the Armed Forces. No one promises that it will be easy. The service is not easy. However, here you know exactly why and who you do it.
