A man who was wounded as a result of a drone attack on Kherson died in the hospital, said the head of the city’s military administration, Roman Mrochka

“The injuries of a 63-year-old man, which he suffered as a result of the enemy dropping explosives from a drone in the Dnipro district around 3 p.m., turned out to be incompatible with life,” Mrochko said.

The man died in the hospital, although doctors fought for his life until the end, the head of the MBA explained.

On September 17, Russian forces dropped explosives from a drone on the Dnipro district of Kherson. Initially, it was known about 4 wounded.

Russian troops regularly attack Ukrainian regions with drones. Most often, the authorities of Kherson region, Sumy region, Chernihiv region and Kharkiv region report dropping explosives from Russian drones on civilians.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
