In a statement on Thursday, Fingrid said it had asked the Helsinki District Court to formally arrest the Eagle S to help satisfy their claim for damages related to the damage to the Estlink 2 submarine electricity cable.
“Further investigations at the accident site are expected to provide more information about the extent of the damage and allow more detailed planning and scheduling of repairs,” Fingrid said.
Fingrid said last week that it expects to put the cable into operation in August this year.
