A drunk man staged a shooting in the center of Kiev, he was detained – police

Law enforcement officers reported that they detained a man who, while intoxicated, staged a shooting in the center of the capital.

Details: The event happened on the street of Bohdan Khmelnitsky. The dispute between men and shooting was informed by a guard of one of the institutions.

Direct language of the Chief of Shevchenkivsky Police Department Igor Padyuk: “We found that the attacker, while intoxicated, provoked a conflict with the passerby and began to touch him for his clothes. During the subsequent push, the person involved the traumatic gun and fired two shots up.”

The 49-year-old arrow was detained at the scene. He was removed from a crime.

The offender was informed of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.

The sanction of the article provides for up to 7 years in prison.
