As the border guards found out, the driver and 10 passengers planned to illegally cross the border with Moldova, for which they contacted the organizer via Telegram.
“For the ‘help’, everyone had to pay from 7 to 10 thousand dollars for a crypto-wallet, but the plan failed,” the DPSU noted.
Now the driver faces criminal liability, and the passengers – administrative, the border guards specified.
On June 12, the spokesman of the State Security Service reported that during the martial law, more than 480 criminal groups were exposed, which were involved in the organization of illegal crossing of the state border.
