So, the accident happened on January 10, around 7:30 p.m., on the Kurovychi-Rohatyn highway in the village of Tumne, Lviv district.
As previously determined by law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a Peugeot 3008 driven by a 36-year-old resident of Ivano-Frankivsk and a Mercedes-Benz bus driven by a 39-year-old resident of Lviv district.
“As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and six passengers of the bus were injured and taken to medical facilities,” the police said.
Among the victims are 17-, 18-, and 41-year-old residents of Lviv district, a 67-year-old woman from Lviv, a 28-year-old resident of Lviv district, and a 48-year-old resident of Zolochiv district.
According to the fact, the investigators opened criminal proceedings. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
Earlier, in the Carpathian region, in the village of Loyeva, a bus was involved in an accident, and 13 people were hospitalized.
