A bus overturned in Prykarpattia: one person died, 8 were injured

In the Kaluska district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a bus overturned in the afternoon on December 28: a man died, 8 people were injured, including a child.

Between the villages of Nadiiv and Rakiv, the regular bus drove into a ditch and overturned on its side. There were 30 passengers and 2 drivers in the cabin.

The police reported that the accident happened around 1:00 p.m. on Sunday in the village of Rakiv Broshniv-Osadsk OTG. As a result of the accident, one person died.

According to the police, as of 2:30 p.m., there are eight victims who received injuries of varying degrees of severity and were taken to medical facilities.

The investigative and operational team of the police, rescuers and medics are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances and causes of the accident.
