Miroshnychenko published a photo on Instagram from a monitoring visit to one of the institutions in the Ternopil region. It is about the Novosilsk special school of the Ternopil Regional Council.
“Almost 20,000,000 hryvnias per year go to this institution from the budget. It is impossible to determine how much charity funds go to,” Miroshnychenko noted.
The lawyer points out that there is no soap, toilet paper, towels, or hot water in the facility’s toilet.
Miroshnychenko also notes that children are washed once a week on Fridays from 20:00 to 22:00. There are also showers, which can also be used only on Fridays from 20:00 to 22:00.
According to her, the situation with toys is also sad.
All children’s rooms have several soft toys. But next to the principal’s office, there is a beautiful renovated game room under lock and key. With a bunch of toys, some of which are in packaging.
Miroshnychenko emphasized that children are not there. After all, this is a room from the route “for volunteers and inspections”.
“None of the children I interviewed had ever been there,” Miroshnychenko wrote.
In addition, she said that children are sent to a psychiatric hospital for bad behavior.
“They don’t record it anywhere. If they misbehave there, they give injections, after which they say, ‘You’re like a vegetable,'” Miroshnychenko said.
She also reported that two cases of sexual violence between children were established. The youngest victim is 8 years old. No one from the controlling authorities was informed about this.
“The children were not given medical or psychological help,” Miroshnychenko emphasized.
