A 20-year-old businessman who stole 13,600 hryvnias of a scholarship intended for an underage orphan through a banking application will be tried in Kyiv. The young man spent the money on celebrating his birthday. About this UNN reports with reference to the Kyiv police.

Details

The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was friends with the violator and the day before, he accessed his personal account in the bank’s mobile application from his phone.

Dilok, having access to Internet banking, transferred to his card the funds of an acquaintance, which he received as a scholarship from an educational institution and social welfare as an orphan. Later, the perpetrator celebrated his birthday with these funds.

The police informed the young man about the suspicion and sent the indictment to the court. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
