Details: The military notes that since the beginning of the new year, the enemy has been building up pressure in the Pokrovsk agglomeration. Due to the impossibility of penetrating the defenses of the Ukrainian troops in the zone of responsibility of the 7th Corps with frontal attacks, the enemy is trying to act in detours. In particular, he is trying to bypass the agglomeration through Hryshyne and Rodynske.

For the past two days, the enemy has been continuously carrying out assaults in the area of the village of Grishine. During attacks, the enemy attracts manpower and light equipment. Assault actions are carried out mostly at night to minimize losses.
At the same time, on the approaches to Hryshyn, Ukrainian units are restraining the enemy, the report says. In total, over the past two days, the Defense Forces eliminated more than 30 enemy soldiers and damaged up to 10 units of light equipment (motorized vehicles and buggies).
The enemy’s attempts to act in small groups of 6-8 people with an exit in the northern direction from Pokrovsk are recorded separately. All movements of the Defense Forces detect and strike the enemy in a timely manner, taking into account the available forces and means, say the 7th Corps.
The situation remains difficult in the Mirnograd region. The units of the 7th corps of the Russian Armed Forces together with the 14th operational brigade of the NSU “Chervona Kalyna” are concentrating their efforts on controlling the northern part of the city, restraining the enemy in the central part of the city and preventing the enemy from pulling in equipment from the south.
The enemy is trying to gain a foothold on the eastern outskirts of Mirnograd, but the Defense Forces are controlling the situation, the report says.
