A significantly smaller share of Czech citizens are supporters of financial (27% of all respondents) and military (29%) aid to Kyiv, rather than humanitarian aid. It is interesting that more than 60% of the voters of Spolu and STAN parties, which are currently in opposition, are in favor of these types of assistance.
At the same time, the Czech public is divided on whether the Czech Republic should continue the ammunition supply initiative, within which the Czech government is negotiating with other countries to supply ammunition to Ukraine.
In particular, 38% of respondents believe that it should be continued, 46% are in favor of its termination, the rest do not know.
We will remind:
- Earlier, the new Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis said that Russia’s assets were frozen worth using after the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
- As you know, the summit of the European Union approved a decision on joint borrowing for Ukraine in the amount of EUR 90 billion. Babish emphasized: The Czech Republic agreed that “will not bear responsibility for him”.
