Sociologists separately noted that during the last two weeks of January, despite large-scale shelling and problems with electricity and heat supply in Ukraine, support for such a demand for peace did not increase.
Among the residents of Kyiv, 59% consider the surrender of Donbas categorically unacceptable, 31% are ready to accept it. In the west of the country, 57% categorically reject and 38% are ready to accept, in the center and in the north – 49% and 42%, in the south – 49% and 44%, in the east – 50% and 39%.
The survey was conducted during January 23-29 by the method of telephone interviews based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers in all regions of Ukraine, except the occupied ones. 1,003 citizens of Ukraine aged 18 and older were interviewed.
The statistical error does not exceed 5.8%.
