Details: According to the investigation, the border guard found “clients” through social networks and promised to take them outside official checkpoints during his shifts for $3,000.

According to operational information, at least ten conscripts used his services every month. Currently, law enforcement officers are establishing a full circle of those involved and those who took advantage of this scheme.
The figure was informed of the suspicion of abuse of influence (Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code). The court chose a preventive measure for him – detention with an alternative bail of 500,000 hryvnias.
He faces up to 8 years in prison. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
