In the spring of the Government of Ukraine and the Council of Europe Development Bank signed a loan agreement for the amount of 50 million euros to provide housing in internally displaced persons (IDPs).
It was the bank’s second loan to support the residential sector of Ukraine. The first, for a total of 100 million euros, was signed in 2024 and provided compensation for destroyed housing through residential certificates.
