“The enemy struck two rocket strokes with 43 rockets and 49 aviation strikes, dropping 70 managed aviation bombs. He also used 1850 Kamikadze drones and made 3876 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops, ”-reads as of 22:00.
Almost half of the fighting is recorded in the Pokrovsky and adjacent Novopavlovsky direction in Donetsk region.
“During the day in the Pokrovsky direction the enemy performed 29 offensive actions. The activity of the Russian invaders was recorded near the settlements of Nikanorivka, New Economic, Mykolaivka, Rodinskoe, Mirolyubivka, Red Lyman, Ray, Pokrovsk, Zarove, Novopavlivka, Muravka, Novoukrainka, Comfort, Kotline, Lysivka, Lisivka, Dachne. Three combat clashes continue.
In the Novopavlovsky direction, the Ukrainian units reflected 25 attacks in the areas of Voskresenko, Zaporizhia, Temivka, Green Field, Tolstoy, Lisne, Olgiv and in the direction of the settlements Komyshivakha, a branch. There are still two combat clashes, ”the message stated.
The fighting also lasted in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk, South Slobozhansky, Kupyansk, Lymansky, Siversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky and Dnieper directions.
The day before, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky stated that Russian troops increase pressure in the north of Donetsk region – in the Lyman direction, but, according to him, the most hot areas remain Pokrovsky, Dobropilsky and Novopavlovsky.
Last week, the promotion of Russian troops for almost a dozen kilometers in the direction of Dobropillya on August 11 marked on his map the analytical project of Deepstate. The spokesman of the operative-strategic group of the Dnipro troops, Lieutenant Colonel Victor Tregubov the next day stated that in Dobropil and Pokrovsky directions Russian troops use the tactics of “impregnation”, which creates a false impression of advancement. Subsequently, the Armed Forces reported the stabilization of the situation in the Dobropilsk direction.
On August 15, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky, as a result of the meeting of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief, stated that the Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsky and Dobropilsky directions “increase the pressure on the occupiers, counteract the attempts of the enemy to move forward.”
