“Two people were helped on the spot. Eight wounded remain in hospital treatment: one woman is in a serious condition, the rest are in a moderate condition. Also, one victim continues treatment on an outpatient basis,” Kiper wrote in a telegram.
The prosecutor’s office clarified that on November 25, around 10:00 a.m., the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a rocket attack on Odesa, previously with an “Iskander-M” ballistic missile.
According to the prosecutor’s office, civil infrastructure in the center of the city was damaged: residential buildings, a medical facility, office premises, commercial facilities and motor vehicles.
Kiper added that among the damaged objects are two educational institutions: a school and a sports hall of the university. “The windows and doors are broken there. Fortunately, teachers and students were in shelters at the time of the impact,” said the head of the OVA.
The prosecutor’s office announced the opening of a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
