Almost half of the users have already submitted applications to receive funds under the “Winter Support” program in “Dia”, according to the press service of the application.

“In a month and a half, almost half of all users of “Diya” applied for “Winter isSupport”. Almost 2.5 million Ukrainians issued payments for children,” Diya says.

According to the agency, a total of 10 million Ukrainians applied for help in “Dia”, and among them:

  • internal migrants – 14% of applications;
  • women – 68% of all applications.

Earlier, on December 11, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported that almost six and a half million Ukrainians applied for 1,000 hryvnias of “eSupport”. At that time, he noted that about half of the payments were transferred for communal services.

On December 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi initiated a one-time aid program, which provides for the payment of one thousand hryvnias for each Ukrainian, in order to “support the population in the winter period.” For this thousand, you can pay for utilities, medicine, transport, mobile communication, purchase of Ukrainian books and other services, as well as transfer money to support the army.

Funds under the “Winter is Support” program in the amount of 1,000 hryvnias are credited to the national cashback card, which can be opened at one of the program’s partner banks until the end of winter.

The payments will be financed by the unused budget funds of the Ministry of Economy and other ministries, which, according to the first deputy minister of economy Oleksiy Sobolev, will not have time to master by the end of the year.
