Ukrainian woman Katarina Zavatska together with a Croatian woman Tara Wurth reached the semifinals of the doubles of the WTA 125 tournament in Cali (Colombia), beating the duo of Elena Bolshova (Spain) and Valeria Strakhova (Ukraine). The match lasted more than two hours.
The first game ended not in favor of Zavacka and Vyurt – they conceded with a score of 3:6, allowing their opponents to make three breaks. In the second set, a tense struggle unfolded. With a score of 3:5, Zavatska and Wurt were able to turn the tide of the game, reaching the tie-break and winning it.
