Zavatska and Starodubtseva left alone in Sydney. A couple is waiting for them

Ukrainian tennis players Julia Starodubtseva (WTA 115) and Katarina Zavatska (WTA 350) finished their performances at the ITF W75 hard tournament in Sydney (Australia) in singles.

On the night of November 18, Yulia lost to Lisette Cabrere (Australia, WTA 250), and Katarina was unable to cope with Yang Ya-yi (Chinese Taipei, WTA 681).

For Starodubtseva, this defeat was the fourth in a row. The last time she won was on October 13, when she defeated Yulia Putintseva at the start of the main draw of the 500 in Ningbo.

Zawatska is holding the second competition in Australia in a month. Last week, she competed in the 50,000 in Brisbane, which she left in the second round.

Starodubtseva and Zavatska will continue their doubles performances in Sydney, where they will play in the same duet. On the night of November 19, Julia and Katarina will compete against the Japanese Nagi Hanatani and Himari Sato.
