In the third game, Diana led twice with a break and served for the match in the ninth game with a score of 5:3 (30:0). Buksha managed to stay in the game, took four games in a row and already got a chance to close the match on her serve in the 12th game. But Yastremska made a break, moved the game to a tie-break, where she pressed her opponent.
Yastremska played her eighth match in 2026 and won her fourth. Last week, Dayana performed at the 500th in Abu Dhabi, where she lost to Ekaterina Alexandrova in the second round.
In the 1/16 finals of the 1000 in Doha, Yastremska will fight against the first racket of Ukraine, Elina Svitolina. Elina received the seventh seed and missed the first round.
