WTA ranking. Svitolina dropped to 14th position, Starodubtseva’s breakthrough

The WTA released an updated rating tennis players of the world as of October 20, 2025.

There were several reshuffles at the top of the rankings. Jasmine Paolini from Italy climbed to the 6th place, and the champion of the tournament in Ningbo Yelena Rybakina from Kazakhstan – to the 7th place. But the Russian Mirra Andreeva lost three positions at once and is now in 9th place.

Ukrainian woman Elina Svitolinawhich ended the season early, lost one position and is in 14th place. Dayana Yastremska moved up two steps (28th position).

She made a noticeable breakthrough Julia Starodubtsevawhich rose 19 positions and now ranks 112. Oleksandra Oliinikova lost two steps (139). Angelina Kalinina, who has not played since June, dropped to 159th place. Darya Snigur rose by four positions (170), and Anastasia Soboleva – by three (262).
