Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinin (WTA 155) will play against Sonai Kartal (Great Britain, WTA 69) in the second round of the WTA 125 tournament in Limoges (France).
She defeated Kartal in the 1/16 finals in two sets Jessica Pieri (Italy, WTA 230) in 53 minutes. Sonai gave her opponent only one game – 6:1, 6:0.
Kalinina and Kartal have never crossed paths with each other before – this will be their first face-to-face confrontation.
The meeting between Angelina and Sonai will take place on December 10 – on the 9th, the first round matches will be played in Limoges.
Kalinin is holding the first competition in six months. In the round of 16, she confidently dealt with Katynka von Deichmann – 6:2, 6:2.
