Blue and yellow will compete for entry to the final stage against the teams of Poland and Switzerland in group E. The famous Iga Swiontek can play for the Polish national team, and the 2020 Olympic champion Belinda Bencic can play for the Swiss.
The matches will take place on the week of April 7 in Poland. The exact schedule and venue will be announced later.
The team that will be the first in the group will enter the final stage of the KBDK. The six winners of the Qualification will play against the reigning champions from Italy and last year’s finalists from Canada in the final round of the unofficial World Tennis Championship.
The final stage of the Billie Jean King Cup from 2025 to 2027 will be held in the Chinese city of Shenzhen.
In November 2024, Ukraine won in Austria 3:2 in the KBDC playoff match. And in April, the Ukrainian women had a chance to reach the final stage, but then the blue-yellow team lost to Romania 2:3 in the Qualification.
