The Spanish tennis player Carlos Alaras dominates the male tours on the soil cover. Other ATP players were unable to score many points on this cover this season. On the eve of the start of the main grid, Rolan Harros can summarize some results.

Carlos Alaras’s victory last week in Rome over the first racket of the world Jannik Sinner proved his current advantage on the ground. Already won Monte Carlo in April, the Spaniard became the first since 2018, who managed to win several Masterrs series tournaments in one season. This allowed him to lead the players’ table of the number of points scored on this cover in 2025.

Since the beginning of the European season on the soil, despite the passage of Madrid, Alaras scored 2 330 points – almost 900 more than Lorenzo Muzetti and Casper Rud. The Italian, reaching the finals in Monte Carlo and semifinals in Madrid and Rome, rose to eight positions and entered the top 10 (8th place). Norwegian won his first victory in the Masterid Madrid category.

ATP Rating Points Released from the moment of the tournament in Monte Carlo:

Carlos Alaras (Spain) – 2 330 points
Lorenzo Museum (Italy) – 1 450
Casper Rud (Norway) – 1 400
Jack Draper (UK) – 950
Alexander Zverev (Germany) – 810
Francisco Cherundolo (Argentina) – 750
Alex de Minaur (Australia) – 700
Jannik Sinner (Italy) – 650
Tommy Paul (USA) – 600
Holger Rune (Denmark) – 570

Immediately behind the leading three is Jack Draper, who suddenly showed excellent results on the soil, despite the fact that it is not his profile coating. Alexander Zverev, who disappointed his fans on three masters (flew in the first round in Monte Carlo, lost in 1/8 in Madrid and in the quarterfinals in Rome), however, won the title at the Munich Home Tournament.

Jannik Sinner, who returned after three months of disqualification, also entered the top 10 thanks to the final in Rome, despite only one tournament.

With 510 points in recent weeks, Arthur Fies also demonstrates a decent result, inferior to Alejandro Fokini (560), but ahead of Stefanos Cycations, Daniil Medvedev and Ben Shelton, which have 400 points.
