Trace in sports Kirill Vasylchyshyn was born on January 26, 1979 in the capital of the Russian Federation of Moscow. When the boy was 11 years old, he moved to Kiev with his mother. He went to school here, and in his spare time he hurried to the courts of the sports club “Antey”. Tennis has become a true admiration for his whole life.
Cyril was the winner of many tournaments in Ukraine and abroad. In 1995, he became a Kyiv champion among juniors under 16 and after that performed at the European Championships. In 1996, Vasylchyshyn reached the semifinals of the Ukrainian Junior Championship (U18), became a finalist of the tournament in a paired discharge, and a little later won the title of absolute champion of Ukraine among juniors. In 1997, Cyril became the strongest tennis player in Ukraine for the second time in a row, in the adult championship of Ukraine he reached the semifinals and became the winner and winner of the International ITFs of the ITF series among juniors that took place in Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Poland and Romania.
Having decided to devote his life to sports, Vasylchyshyn received a relevant education – graduated from the National University of Physical Culture and Sports at the Faculty of Physical Rehabilitation.
After completing his sports career, Cyril went to coaching work, became a teacher of tennis of the Kiev Children’s and Youth Sports School № 17. He brought up more than one generation of famous tennis players-Alexander Dolgopolov, Olena Tatarkov, Pavel Tartasyuk, Dmitry Petrov, Dmitry Brich.
Combat experience and death As a native of Russia, Cyril was a great patriot of Ukraine, loved Ukrainian poetry. When the war began in 2014, Vasylchyshyn immediately told his loved ones that it called Putin for a long time.
When, on February 24, 2022, Cyril heard his native Kiev shuddering from the explosions of Russian missiles, he immediately went to the military enlistment office and was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the first days. The junior sergeant Kirill Vasylchyshyn became the commander of the Rifle Branch, the officer of the newly created 48th separate shooting battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade. Initially, together with his brothers, he defended the northern borders of Ukraine, including Chernihiv region, and later in the battalion was relocated to the Donetsk region.
Kirill Vasylchyshyn died, according to various data, in the area of June 21-27 in the battles near Bakhmut in Donetsk region.
The warrior has a wife and son.

Cyril was buried on the Walk of Glory of the Cemetery of Sukha Yar in the White Church in the Kyiv region.
