23-year-old Ukrainian tennis player Eric Wanschelboim failed to make it to the challenger match in Montemar, Spain.

On November 21, the Ukrainian, together with his partner Denys Yevseev (Kazakhstan), was supposed to play in the doubles quarter-final against the tandem of Daniel Rincon (Spain) / Abedalla Shelbayh (Jordan). However, the match never took place.

Before the start of the game, the referee’s tower fell on Eric. There has been no reaction from the organizers yet.

As for the singles, Eric did not manage to overcome the qualification sieve. In the final round of selection, he lost to Gerard Campang Lee (South Korea, ATP 376) with a score of 5:7, 6:4, 3:6.
