VIDEO. Kostiuk confidently won the first match after the US Open

Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk made a winning start at the WTA 500 hard tournament in Seoul, South Korea.

In the first round, the 5th-seeded Ukrainian defeated Arancha Rus from the Netherlands – 6:3, 6:1.

For Marta, it was the 32nd victory in 59 matches in the current season. On hard, she won 22 out of 31 matches.

In the next round, Kostyuk will play against British Heather Watson, who started in the qualification.
