Former first racket of the world Venus Williams has released a new book that she hopes will help her fans find inspiration to achieve their health and wellness goals.

In a book titled “Strive: 8 Steps to Find Your Awesome,” the seven-time Grand Slam singles champion talks about eight “small but important principles that will help turn smart choices into habits.”

“Tennis has always been more than just a sport for me – it has been my greatest teacher,” Williams wrote on social media in honor of the book’s release. “Winning a match is not just about hitting the ball or perfect shots from the summer, it’s about courage, fortitude and the ability to find balance in everything you do.

In this book, I share the lessons I’ve learned on and off the court, and I hope it inspires you to reflect on your own path and apply those same lessons to achieve your own goals.”
