Vaschero hit the 18 racket. Brotherly match: Shanghai finalists to play in Paris

Representative of Monaco Valentin Vachereau (ATP 40) and a French tennis player Artur Rinderknesch (ATP 29) will play head-to-head in the second round of the ATP 1000 tournament in Paris, France.

Vaschero and Rinderknes, who are cousins, got off to a successful start in Bersa, with Valenten knocking out world No. 18 Jiri Legechka (Czech Republic) and Artur handling Fabian Marozhan (Hungary, ATP 48). Both Vaschero and Rinderknes received a wild card into the main draw from the organizers.

Vaschero won his fourth victory over a representative of the top 20 of the ATP ranking. Valenten extended his winning streak to 10 matches in ATP 1000 tournaments – on October 12, he became the champion on the Shanghai courts. After the Masters in Shanghai, Vachereau played in the 500th in Basel, where he lost to Taylor Fritz in the first round.

Valenten and Rinderknesch will hold a second face-to-face confrontation. The first took place in the Shanghai final – Vaschero then defeated his cousin with a score of 4:6, 6:3, 6:3.
