Yulia’s next opponent will be Despina Papamikhail (Greece, WTA 157), who passed Sasha Vickery at the start of the selection.
Starodubtseva is performing on the Melbourne courts for the third time in her career. In 2024, she overcame qualification and lost to Ons Jabert in the 1/64 finals, and last season she immediately got into the starting line-up and lost to Leila Fernandez.
