On September 21, the 3rd and final game day took place in Berlin Laver Cup 2024 – a three-day team tournament where six of the best players from Europe competed against six of their colleagues from other countries of the world.

The European team made a comeback and defeated the team from the rest of the world – 13:11! Before the 3rd day, the Europeans conceded 4:8… For each victory on September 22, the team was awarded 3 points.

It was the seventh draw of the Laver Cup. The last two draws were won by the World team, and the first four went to the European team. Now the Europeans have 5 wins.

Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz brought eight points for the European team, winning two singles matches and one doubles match. This is a new tournament record. Previously, one player had not managed to win so many points for his team in one Laver Cup. It was a debut for Carlitos!
