The Monegasque fairy tale is over: the famous first semi-finalist of the Masters in Paris

Canadian tennis player and number ten in the ATP ranking Felix Auger-Alassime became the first semi-finalist of the ATP 1000 tournament in Paris, France.

In the quarterfinals, the Canadian defeated the representative of Monaco in two sets Valentin Vaschero (ATP 40) in 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Vachereau and Auger held their first face-to-face confrontation.

Felix stopped Valentine’s winning streak at the Masters – the Canadian won 12 matches in a row, becoming the champion in Shanghai and reaching the quarterfinals in Bersa.

Auger-Aliassim made his fourth career ATP 1000 semifinal. His next opponent will be either Alexander Bublyk or Alex de Minaur.
