Former World Range and Australian Open 2018 winner Carolin Wozniatsky announced that she was waiting for a third child.
“We officially switch to zone protection! Our family is looking forward to the appearance of a third baby! ”-wrote 34-year-old Carolin on her Instagram.
Wozniatsky’s husband is an American ex-bassetball player David Lee. Carolin and David already have two children: Olivia’s daughter (3 years) and son James (2 years).
After the birth of James, Woznyatsky returned to the tour in August 2023. In 2024, she reached the quarterfinals on the courts of Indian-Wells, and at the US Open in 2023 and 2024 reached the fourth round.
Wozniacki held her last match in September 2024, when Beatrice Haddad Maya lost in the 1/8 Final of the Open US Championship.
