The final pairs of the ATP 250 tournaments in Adelaide and Auckland have become known

On January 16, semi-final matches at hard tournaments took place ATP 250 in Adelaide (Australia) and Oakland (New Zealand).

At the Australian competition, Tomasz Makhach (Czech Republic, ATP 35) and Hugo Humber (France, ATP 36) will play for the trophy. In the semi-finals, Tomáš was defeated by Tommy Paul (USA, ATP 21), and Hugo coped with Alejandro Davidovych Fokin (Spain, AYP 15).

Tomas will hold the third final in his career. He has one trophy to his credit – in February of last year, he became the champion of the five-hundredth in Acapulco.

Umbert reached his 11th career final and will be looking to win his eighth trophy, his first since February 2025 when he won the title in Marseille.

Makhach and Umber have only played each other once before. In 2024, Hugo beat Tomasz in the semifinals of the competition in Tokyo.

The final in Adelaide will take place on January 16 and will start approximately at 06:30 Kyiv time.

Jakub Menšík (Czech Republic, ATP 18) and Sebastian Baez (Argentina, ATP 39) will fight for the trophy in New Zealand. Jakub knocked out Fabian Marozhan (Hungary, ATP 18) in the semifinals, while Baez dealt with Marcos Chiron (USA, ATP 60).

Both Jakub and Sebastian played two matches each on Friday as Auckland was rained out on Thursday. In the quarterfinals, Menschik won against Giovanni Mpeschi-Perricard (France, ATP 63), and Baez overcame Ben Shelton (USA, ATP 8).

Menshiek will hold the third final in the Tour and fight for the second trophy. Last season, Jakub became the champion of the Masters in Miami, beating Novak Djokovic in the final.

Baez extended his streak to seven fights. Before the tournament in Auckland, he had won three United Cup matches. For the Argentine, this will be the 12th final in his career and only the second on a hard surface.

Sebastian and Jakub have never played with each other before. The final in New Zealand will take place on January 17 at 03:00 Kyiv time.
