The final pair of the ATP Youth Final Tournament 2025 has been determined

On December 20, the semi-final matches of the youth team took place of the final tournament of the ATP 2025.

They made it to the decisive match of the Next Gen ATP Finals Alexander Blocks (ATP 116) and Lerner Tien (ATP 167).

Blox defeated Nikolai Budkov Kier (ATP 136) and Tien handled Nishesh Basavareddy (ATP 167).

Alexander won all four matches in Jeddah. In the group stage, he handled Justin Engel, Nishesh Basavareddy and Dino Prizhmych. During the tournament, Blox served 43 aces and will play in the Next Gen final for the first time.

For Tien, this is the second final of the youth final – in 2024, he lost in the match for the Joao Fonseca trophy. Previously, only Alex de Minaur played in the Next Gen final twice.

Blox and Tien crossed each other twice. In 2023, Alexander defeated Lerner in the final of the junior Australian Open and lost to him in the round of 16 of the junior Roland Garros.

The final of the youth final tournament will take place on December 21 at 19:00 Kyiv time.
