Kazakhstani tennis player Alexander Bublyk (ATP 16) made it to the semifinals of the ATP 1000 tournament in Paris (France) and will next play against Canada’s Felix Auger-Alyassime (Canada, ATP 10).

In the quarterfinals, Bublyk beat the Australian “demon” Alex de Minaur (ATP 6) in 2 hours and 25 minutes.

Alexander Bublyk (Kazakhstan) [13] – Alex de Minaur (Australia) [6] – 6:7 (1:7), 6:4, 7:5

Bublyk and de Minaur held the fifth face-to-face confrontation. Alexander won his second victory over Alex.

For the first time in his career, Bublyk made it to the semi-finals of the ATP 1000 competition.

Aleksandra Felix’s next opponent knocked out Valentin Vaschero in his quarter-final match. Auger-Alyassim played against Bublyk five times before and beat the Kazakh three times.
