The Czechs conquered Oceania. The winners of the tournaments in Adelaide and Auckland have been determined

On January 17, the finals were held at the ATP 250 hard tournaments in Adelaide (Australia) and the ATP 250 in Auckland (New Zealand).

The Czech became the champion in Adelaide Tomah Makhach (ATP 35), who in the final managed to Hugo Umber in three parts in 2 hours and 52 minutes.

Toma played the third final match in his career and won the second trophy. Last season he won the 500 title in Acapulco.

In the decisive match of the New Zealand competition Yakub Menshik (Czech Republic, ATP 18) lost Sebastian Baez (Argentina, ATP 39) in two sets in 1 hour and 24 minutes.

Yakub played in the finals at the Tour level for the third time in his career and won the second trophy. In 2025, he became the champion of the Masters in Miami.

Menshik broke Baez’s seven-fight streak.
