On Sunday, May 25, Rolan Harros-2025 starts-for the first time without Raphael Nadal, the most titled player in the history of the tournament (14 wins). What other records of Parisian helmet are forever inscribed in the history of the Open Championship of France?

The youngest winners

The 1989 and 1990 tournaments became a triumph of youth. In 1989, American Michael Chang on his second Rolan Garros at the age of 17 and 3 months defeated the first racket of Ivan Landl’s world in the 1/8 finals, and later won the whole tournament. Raphael Nadal did not defeat Rolan Garros from 2010 to 2015. His series of 39 wins was interrupted in the quarterfinals Novak Djokovich. Women Chris Evert, who won seven titles and won 28 victories in a row (1974, 1975, 1979 and 1980).

The most titled countries

Among men is the leader of Spain with 23 titles, of which 14 belong to Raphael. Also won by Sergey Bruger (2), Manuel Santana (2), Juan Carlos Ferrero, Albert Costa, Carlos Moya, Andres Himeo and Carlos Alaras – one at a time.
