Svontek won the first match on the grass in 2025, having overcome Azarenko in Germany

Former first racket of the world Iga Swontek (Poland, WTA 8) Successfully started at the WTA 500 grass tournament in Bad-Homburg, Germany.

In the second round, the Polka in two sets beat the Belarusian “neutral” Victoria Azarenko (WTA 105) in 1 hour and 37 minutes.
