The opponent of the Ukrainian tennis player has been determined Elina Svitolina (WTA 27) in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Australian Open. 
Madison Keys from the USA (WTA 14) beat Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan (WTA 7) in three sets and became Elina’s opponent in the 1/4 finals.
The game lasted 1 hour 50 minutes. Keys won the first set (6:3), then lost the second game (1:6), but won the decisive one (6:3).
Earlier, Elina Svitolina reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open 2025, defeating the athlete without a flag Veronika Kudermetova (WTA 75) in two sets (6:4, 6:1).
