– I remember. It was a wonderful event for Ukraine, organized by Iga in Swontek. At the time I was pregnant, and I will remember that meeting as a special moment. I am very grateful for organizing such an event. I would also like to thank Izi and all Poles who support Ukraine during such difficult times.

– It’s a great responsibility and pressure, but I like it. I feel it makes me even more motivated. Now, at this difficult time for Ukraine, we want to give our compatriots victory and reasons to enjoy our achievements.
– If you look at individual achievements and rating, Ukraine seems like a favorite of qualification in Radom. Do you perceive it as a great opportunity to finally go out to the finale in the new format of the tournament?
– We have a good team, but it is just important for us to prepare for these competitions as best possible. The teams in our group are quite strong. We will try to play well and show ourselves on the best side. This is our goal. In team competitions you never know what to expect, what you will face, so we should be well prepared.
– How would you describe Poland? Magda Linett will play a composition among others. You met her four times and won three times, but all the matches were persistent.
– She is a strong opponent and a complex opponent. I expect a real battle. It will be another confrontation in which I will try to show my best tennis.
