“Elina spoke of doping tests and discomfort while taking analyzes”, – WRITE: Sport.ua
“The topic of doping is quite unpleasant. I think all athletes have an association with this, because they have to think about it constantly: daily to allocate time, fill the system, not forget that you can come to the check at any time.
You are forced to indicate the time you will definitely at home – it is usually an early morning to be guaranteed to be in place.
And when you are chosen for doping control after the match, they literally follow your every step: they look at how you washed-so that, God forbid, you do not catch in your heart (laughs). Then you follow you until you take the test. This is really very uncomfortable. Especially if a person does not know you at all, and you need to go to the jar, and they stand straight from you and look as you do it, then it is really discomfort.
For example, sometimes in the morning I happen: I wake up and know that they can come to doping at nine. And I woke up at eight, and I understand that it takes another hour to suffer, because if I do not come to it, then when they come, I will have to wait a few hours, until I can re -pass. So you constantly think about it.

And when it comes to the general situation, unfortunately, there are many cases where people get through additives that find prohibited substances – hormones and so on. There are times when someone plays, say, in Mexico or in China, eats meat that contains hormones and then it is manifested in the dough.
You can’t just take a vitamin – you need to check. Even face cream cannot be just taken and used. I had a case: I had very dry skin and I bought a regular cream at the pharmacy. I decided to clarify the doctor whether it could be used. He looked at the composition and said, “Such a cream can only be used when you are not in the tournament.” Because if you use it during the competition, the test will show a forbidden substance.
Imagine a regular cream that is freely sold at the pharmacy. Now everything has come to the absurd. In recent years, the rules have become much tougher, the tests themselves have become much more sensitive. Sometimes even a microscopic amount of a substance can produce a positive result.
And this, of course, is strongly strained. It is impossible to take everything as a given – you have to keep your head constantly that everything can return unexpectedly. ”
Earlier, the International Tennis (ITIA) Agency reported that players could not go to the shower after a match unaccompanied if they have not yet passed the doping test.
