Barbora and Catherine won the 18th common trophy and the first since July 2024. Last season, they only played twice in one pair – at the competition in Prague, where they took the title, and at the Olympics – a defeat in the quarterfinals.
Before the start of the 2024 season, Krachikov and Sinyakova announced that they would no longer play one couple. The initiative was shown by Catherine. In total, they won seven Grand Slam, 2020 in Tokyo and the WTA 2021 tournament together for their careers.
Sinyakova is now playing in one pair with Taylor Townsend, and Krachikov did not focus on a paired discharge because of the injury, but the last tournaments were held with Alona Ostapenko, a former bait Lyudmila Kichenok.
Barbora and Catherine in Seoul also performed in a single discharge. Krachikova reached the quarterfinals, where she lost the future champion of Izi Swontek, and Sinyakova reached the semi -finals – the defeat of Alexandrov’s Yekaterina.
