Ukrainian tennis player Vitaly Sachko (ATP 417) made it to the quarterfinals of the challenger in Camper (France), which is held on indoor hard surfaces.

In the 2nd round, the Ukrainian defeated the ex-18th ranked player in the world in three sets Benoit Pera (France, ATP 422) in 2 hours and 14 minutes.

Sachko could finish the match in two games. In the 11th game of the second game, Sachko made a break and came out to serve for the match, but he failed to do so and Benoit moved the game to a tiebreak.

In the tie-break, Sachko missed 3 match points, including 2 on serve.

Vitaly started in Kemper from the qualification, and in the 1st round he passed Otto Virtanena. Sachko will play against Matteo Martino (France, ATP 215) in the quarterfinals.

Sachko reached the quarterfinals at the challenger level for the first time since August 2024. In general, for Vitaly, this will be the 19th match at this stage, in which he will fight for the 8th semifinal.
